PATTI LABELLE VISITS HAMPTONS FOR STAR STUDDED BASH

Diva Patti LaBelle swooped into the Hamptons for a private concert to help Diabetes Research Institute at the palatial estate of Jill and Cliff Vinner. After the over 300 guests supped on a special meal created by South Florida’s party guru Barton G. with no carb entrees , mountains of lobsters, oysters and shrimp and sugar free (and guilt free) chocolate mousse and strawberry shortcake, the Queen of Rock ‘n Soul took to the outdoor stage to chill the crowd with her electrifying vocals.

The highpoint came when LaBelle launched into her signature tune Lady Marmalade (Voulez Vous Couchez Avec Moi Ce Soir) and pulled several guys up to the stage. Halfway through the rousing number, she turned to see her former publicist Ed Callaghan dancing with her! The diva put down her mike and embraced the man who for 20 years kept her in the public eye. The unexpected, emotional reunion continued for 2 hours backstage before Patti clad only in beach robe, her diamonds and Fendi 6 inch high stilettos sped off into the night.
