BABY SHOWER FOR TOBY MAGUIRE'S CHILD

Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson were among the galaxy of stars that turned out for the baby shower for Tobey Maguire's unborn child. The 'Spider-Man' actor is expecting his first child with fiancée JenniferMayer, who held the girls-only event in Malibu on Sunday. One guest revealed: "It was a very mellow afternoon. It was a totally easy breezy shower. No shower games. No present opening. Just hanging out."As well as Jennifer and Kate other stars who turned up for the poolside party - which was held at the home of Jennifer Mayer's father, Universal Studios boss Ron Meyer - were Courteney Cox Arquette, 'Daredevil' actress Jennifer Garner, Demi Moore and 'The Village' actress Bryce Dallas Howard, who is also pregnant. Jennifer Mayer was inundated with gifts for her impending arrival including items from lavish Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor. However, despite the 'women only' rule Tobey did show up, only to be showered by kisses by female guests.The actor got engaged to Jennifer in April, getting down on one knee and offering her a dazzling Tiffany diamond ring. The pair have yet to set a date for their nuptials.
