BOBBY ABID STARRING ON BROADWAY

By, Tony Vargas
Broadway Beat
Bobby Abid stars in Alter Ego production of A First Class Man, by David Freeman at 45th Street Theater in Times Square on a limited run closing October 21
Bobby plays three roles in this play, Manu (the brother), the gypsy and the wounded soldier. Three very challenging roles that require different acting, accents and costumes. A grueling stretch for a dynamic and talented young actor. The play is the story of Srinivasa Ramanujan, a shipping clerk living in India in the 1910's who possessed an innate genius and a full time passion for producing complex mathematical theorems and equations who had no formal training. He was self taught from a textbook that was at least a generation out of date and his results have an impact on our lives to this day.
