DANCING WITH THE STARS MAKES ABC #1

"Dancing With The Stars" hit season-high ratings, leading ABC to a win in both key measures in Tuesday's broadcast primetime. The dancefloor contest was the night's top program in viewers (21.1 million) and the adults 18-49 demographic (5.9 rating/15 share), according to preliminary estimates released Wednesday by Nielsen Media Research. Last week's show pulled in 20.1 million viewers and a 5.6/15 demo score. The 90-minute show featured an interview with country singer Sara Evans, who has left the show to focus on a bitter divorce battle, as well as dances by the remaining contestants.
