KEITH URBAN FALLS OFF WAGON

Nicole Kidman reportedly threatened Keith Urban that their fledgling marriage was over unless he went into rehab after he fell off the wagon while she was filming in Europe. According to Life & Style Weekly, Kidman had been told Urban had been hitting the bars in Nashville after she had flown to Europe to film His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass. She phoned to confront him, and is said to have delivered her ultimatum after he admitted he had started drinking again. “Nicole called Keith and confronted him,” said a source, according to Life & Style. “He got defensive and accused her of spying on him. "She gave him a choice. He could enter a program or she’d leave him. He chose the former. Keith can’t stand the thought of life without Nicole. That’s his motivation to kick this thing for good." Kidman’s sister, Antonia, reportedly flew to the US this week to lend her support. Yesterday was Urban’s birthday — the first the couple would have spent together as husband and wife. Instead, he was in rehab. "She’s an emotional wreck," Life & Style Weekly’s source said of Kidman. “She would never say it to Keith but she’s telling her family and close friends that her marriage is hanging by a thread. She says she wants to help Keith conquer his demons so the two of them can move on with their lives.”
