Tom Cruise must promise to give Katie Holmes a comb and a cat during their Scientology wedding ceremony this weekend. If the couple opt for the traditional Scientology service, the minister will explain that Katie needs "clothes, food, tender happiness and frills, a pan, a comb and perhaps a cat". Tom, 44, will then be told he is expected to provide all these things for Katie. ( I HOPE HE HAS THAT MUCH IN HIS CLOSET? ) The minister will later tell Katie, 27, that "young men are free and may forget their promises". Tom and Katie, who will recite traditional vows, will also be offered advice on how to have a successful marriage and the bride and groom must promise never go to bed angry. Church of Scientology spokeswoman Karin Pouw is quoted as saying: "They make a vow to each other that they won't go to sleep at night without having repaired any upset they may have had during the day."Tom and Katie's Scientology ceremony will have some similarities to their Catholic service - both include flower girls, rings, music and a party afterwards. Pouw insisted: "Scientology ceremonies are quite normal. People do have alot of questions but in a few years from now when a few more thousand people have attended Scientology wedding ceremonies, it won't be something people have heard about but have never seen. "Tom and Katie are reportedly tying the knot at a 15th century castle, Odescalchi, near Rome, on Saturday. It is rumored that opera singer Andrea Bocelli will perform.
