JENNIFER ANISTON AND VINCE 'UGLY' VAUGHN CONFIRM THEIR SPLIT

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have officially split. Reports that the couple - who met on the set of romantic comedy 'The Break-Up' shortly after Jennifer separated from husband Brad Pitt - had decided to call time on their romance was confirmed by their representatives the other day. Publicists Stephen Huvane and John Pisani said: "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today."Jennifer visited Vince in the UK capital in late October when he was shooting his latest film 'Fred Claus'. On October 11 she dismissed rumors they had split, telling US chat showhost Oprah Winfrey they were still together.When rumors that the couple were dating first circulated in the summer of 2005, while they both were filming 'The Break-Up', it was initially thought to be a publicity stunt for the film. Although the couple refused to confirm they were an item for some time it soon became clear that their relationship was more than a promotional gimmick. When engagement rumors surfaced earlier this year both were quick to deny there was any wedding on the horizon. Jennifer is currently at her Los Angeles home, while Vince is still in London filming until the end of this month.
