JOY BEHAR AT 'THE METROPOLITAN ROOM'

Joy Behar, co-host of ABC TV's "The View" performed her stand up act to a capacity crowd at "The Metropolitan Room" at 34 West 22nd Street. She delighted the crowd with her take on many recent "View" guests as well as her co hosts, past and present, her upbringing in Williamsburg/Brooklyn and her stint as an english teacher. She also offered a hysterical slide show routine as well as performing an origional song! Aside from the throngs of fans her friend Dan Florek from "Law & Order" was in the crowd with his lovely wife and a few longtime stand up comic friends Colin Quinn, Judy Gold(25 Questions for a Jewish Mother), and Lou Dimaggio snuck in to enjoy the show. After the show a parade of well wishers spoke briefly with Joy , after the house finally emptied out a samll group including Chris Mazilli , Joy, her often mentioned but rarely seen partner Steve, Judy Gold, Colin Quinn, Lou DiMaggio and myself hung around and all four comics traded stories from their past and the hilarity continued into the morning hours!
