JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S FITNESS REGIME

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake was put through a gruelling fitness regime by the director of his new movie. Timberlake - who makes his Hollywood debut in drug drama 'Alpha Dog' - says filmmaker Nick Cassavetes was adamant the entire cast participated in the tough work-outs to help everyone bond. He said: "That's where we found a chemistry with all of us. We literally went through what hockey players go through to train. It was hours and hours of weight lifting, six days a week."The 25-year-old star - who plays drug dealer Frankie Ballenbacher in the drama based on the life of notorious drug dealer Jesse James Hollywood -insists Cassavetes' "boot-camp" was the most physically challenging thing he has ever done.Timberlake added: "We'd do drills on the beach. On Saturdays we would box. It was pretty intense training. I've toured since I was 14 years old and I've never done anything as physically taxing as this."Jesse James Hollywood, real name Sean Michaels, was one of the most notorious drug dealers of the 80s, and is one of the youngest people to ever appear on the FBI's ten most-wanted list at the age of just 20. After two decades on the run, Hollywood was apprehended in 2005 in Brazil.
