MICHAEL JACKSON GETS GRAFFITI BY BANKSY

Michael Jackson has been ridiculed in a new art work by a notorious British graffiti artist. The piece by Banksy features the 'Thriller' singer standing in the doorway of a cottage trying to coax a young boy and girl into his house with sweets. The work - which was inspired by the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel -is apparently a reference to the child abuse charges Jackson was acquitted of last year. Banksy's latest work is going on display at a new urban London art space called Santa's Ghetto. His controversial works have attracted a large celebrity following over the past year.Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were among the A-list crowd at his recent Los Angeles exhibition and are said to have bought several Banksy originals. The elusive artist - who began his career spray painting public walls -refuses to reveal his identity for fear of reproach from the law, as it isillegal to graffiti public property. His is known for poking fun at authority and his previous works have included a portrait of two policemen locked in a homosexual embrace. In October, his Andy Warhol-style portrait of Kate Moss was sold at auction for almost $1000.000 .
