Mel B has hired top a Hollywood lawyer in her paternity battle with Eddie Murphy.The former Spice Girl - who was dumped by the 'Doctor Dolittle' star during a TV interview - has hooked up with celebrity lawyer Don Engel to help her take Eddie "to the cleaners". A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Mel is refusing to lie down and let Eddie walk all over her - and this is reflected in her choice of lawyer. She wants to hit him where it hurt the most - in the pocket. They don't come much better than Don."It has been estimated that with the help of her $500-an-hour legal advisor, Mel could get as much as $30 thousand in life long payments for their child. However, Eddie- who is now reportedly dating film producer Tracey Edmonds -has demanded a DNA test to prove the child is really his. Engel - who counts Cher, Meatloaf and Fleetwood Mac among his past clients -is considered one of Hollywood's most successful lawyers and enjoys taking on high profile work.The source added: "Don's services don't come cheap but he one of the best lawyers around. Most lawyers would relish taking on an A-list star and Don will surely be no exception."This is a war and if Eddie doesn't know it, he will very shortly."
