STEVE IRWIN'S WIDOW COMING TO AMERICA TO CONTINUE HIS WORK

Steve Irwin's widow Terri is to take to the US stage to continue his work.Terri and daughter Bindi, 8, are set to appear in two special G'Day USA shows in January to promote Australian tourism.Terri admitted: "They are kind of bitter sweet events because Steve and Bindi were going to be promoting Australia together."The Crocodile Hunter's widow will be joined by the Australia Zoo Croc Men dancers, Australia Zoo director Wes Mannion, zoo animals and The Wiggle's children's group. Bindi will make her first US stage appearance in the shows, which are scheduled for Los Angeles on January 14 and New York on January 20.Terri revealed: "Bindi has a real understanding of how much work goes into a stage performance or something on TV. She's got the X factor like Steve did."Steve's final project, 'Ocean's Deadliest', will air next month and Terri says it will be a fitting final tribute to him.Terri said: "It's important for people to get to see what he was doing. It's a wonderful insight into what his last trip was. He lived life to the fullest."The 42-year-old says that three months after the tragic death of her animal loving husband, she is still struggling to come to terms with her grief. She said: "Some days I lay on the floor and cry and other times I hold my head up."It's a one-day-at-a-time issue, and I think everyone who deals with tragedy knows you definitely ebb and flow."Steve died after being stabbed through the heart by a stingray barb while filming a documentary near Australia's Great Barrier Reef on September 4.
