BRITNEY SPEARS COLLAPSES AT NEW YEARS BASH IN VEGAS

Singer and ever so party girl Britney Spears collapsed at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas while she was there to help ring in the new year. According to to reports which are still coming in, Britney arrived with around 27 people at Pure, to help the club celebrate New Years Eve and their 2nd anniversary. Britney and her posse first dined at famous Jimmy Choo's restaurant where they feasted on Kobe Beef Burgers, Lobster curry salad and Chicken fried rice before heading down to the club. From the moment she arrived, everyone had out their cell phone cameras with hundreds of fans taking pictures of the former wholesome star. Britney was drinking Dom Perignon champagne and singing along to all the top songs. Actress Shannon Elizabeth and Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe was also in the exclusive VIP area partying the night away. Also celebrating with Britney were actor Marlan Williams, NBA legend Dr. J. Julius Irving and poker pro Chris Ferguson. Rocker Dave Navarro joined them later. When her hit song "I'm A Slave for You" was played, she went to the railing overlooking the dance floor and danced for the crowd. Then she began the first of her 2 countdowns. Inside the club she yelled "What happens in Vegas always stays in Vegas" and after the countdown she wished everybody a Happy New Year. After 2007 was rang in, Britney and her friends popped the cork on a $5,000 giant bottle of Dom Perignon in front of a Happy New Year cake that was layered in Swarovski diamonds. Britney, with champagne in hand, led her friends in the open-air toast and then retreated downstairs back to her VIP room. At 12:50AM, she collapsed and was carried out of the club hidden under a hooded black poncho behind a screen of 12 burly bodyguard bouncers. There are also reports that a ambulance was called to Ceasars where Pure is located.
