British singer George Michael has been charged by police with being unfit to drive for an incident in London in October. The 43-year-old was arrested in October on suspicion of being unfit to drive and for possessing marijuana, the BBC reported Monday. He was not charged for the drug offence but was charged for the driving offence just before Christmas, the Metropolitan Police confirmed. Michael is now scheduled to appear at Brent Magistrates Court in London on Jan. 11, the BBC said. He was originally arrested after concerned drivers called the police to report his car was causing an obstruction at a traffic light. He was also cautioned once before in February for possessing marijuana allegedly found in his car at Hyde Park Corner in central London, the report said.
