NEW ROLE FOR X FILE DAVID DUCHOVNY

The X-Files' David Duchovny is headed back to TV screens with a new series in a role in which he might well be re-visiting some old ground.The Hollywood Reporter says he'll be playing a character obsessed with truth-telling and self destructive behaviour.Instead of chasing aliens like he did as the X-Files character Fox Mulder, he'll be looking after his 13 year old daughter played by Madeleine Martin.Duchovny will also act as executive producer on the series.Since the X-Files finished up in 2002, Duchovny's been trying his hand as a writer and director as well as continuing to act.
