Heather Mills' accusations of marital abuse were dismissed in court the other day. Heather and Sir Paul McCartney appeared at London's High Court to determine if Heather's allegations regarding Paul's aggressive behaviour could be used in the divorce battle. Last year, leaked legal papers revealed Heather had accused Paul of pushing her into a bath while pregnant, trying to choke her in 2003, pouring wine over her and stabbing her in the arm with a broken wine glass. She also claimed Paul drank and took drugs excessively during their marriage. The 64-year-old Beatles legend has always denied the allegations. Heather, 39, was seen storming from the court after a judge threw out many of the claims, while a smiling Paul emerged 20 minutes later. When asked if he had anything to say about the hearing, he said: "No, but nice of you to ask. Thank you."Heather, who is said to have rejected a $50 million offer from Paul last month, was accompanied by her solicitor Anthony Julius. The pair, who did not speak throughout the hearing, were not required to give evidence. It is not known if the custody of the couple's three-year-old daughter Beatrice was discussed at the hearing. Labels: COURT, DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, JAMES EDSTROM, PAUL MCCARTNEY
