Lindsay Lohan hates sleeping alone.The 'Mean Girls' star - who recently completed a stint in rehab for alcoholism - claims she parties all night, despite the temptation to drink, because she hates going to bed alone. Lindsay, who is rumored to be involved in a lesbian relationship with DJ friend Samantha Ronson, told Nylon magazine: "It's so much harder to stay sober in New York."Though it's hard in Los Angeles not to go out, it gets lonely. Being an actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone. I hate sleeping alone."The 20-year-old - who last year was sent a warning letter from movie producers of her film 'Georgia Rule' scolding her for her continuous partying and apparent lack of professionalism - believes she deserves to go out and have fun as she works so hard. Lindsay, who was accompanied by Ronson throughout the interview, said: "I'm at the point where I think 'Oh my God I'm going to go out!'"I work hard enough and I know how to take care of myself. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow."

Lindsay Lohan wants to play Princess Diana in a movie about the late royal's life.The 'Mean Girls' star - whose mother Dina recently compared her to the late princess because she is so harassed by the paparazzi - is a big fan of Diana and would love to portray her in a movie. Lindsay told In Touch Weekly magazine: "It would be fantastic to play her. She gave back a lot and was such an amazing woman."The 20-year-old actress - who left rehab last month after being treated for alcoholism - is also planning to follow in the princess' footsteps by doing some charity work. She said: "I'm going to Japan soon with my friend Charlotte Ronson, who's a designer, and I'm researching some charity work that I can do and visit some orphanages."

Britney, 25, was seen at 11am stripped down to her bra and knickers, sunbathing by the pool. She then shaved her legs in the pool bathroom. A source said: "It was sad. It looked like she really needed a friend."At around midday, the singer made friends with a woman who offered to lend her a bikini. Britney followed the woman to her hotel room, changed into the orange two-piece swimsuit and raided her mini-bar. A source told Us Weekly magazine : "She grabbed four or five bottles and just started mixing everything and drinking them."Three days later Britney checked into Promises rehab centre in Malibu. She checked out 24 hours later, before returning the same day for a 45-day program. It has been claimed she re-entered the center because her estranged husband Kevin Federline issued her with an ultimatum over custody of their children. Britney allegedly agreed to return to rehab in return for Kevin cancelling a court hearing in which he planned to seek full custody of seventeen-month-old Sean Preston and five-month-old Jayden James. A source said: "Britney scared everyone real bad. Kevin is working closely with Britney's mom Lynne to let Britney know how serious it is that she gets help."Kevin loves Britney nothing has changed about that. The boys are being taken care of by Kevin. Lynne is helping."

News outlets reported the reckless drinker Lohan apparently wasted no time getting back to her hard-partying lifestyle after her stint in rehab, as she was spotted out in Los Angeles the night before her treatment ended. Lohan was apparently seen partying at Hollywood nightclub Teddy's."She will continue [rehab] as an outpatient. She will take it day by day. She's in it for the long haul, and she asks that her privacy be respected," said her rep Leslie Sloane-Zelnick. In light of the new reports, it's uncertain what this "day by day" exactly means. Maybe not drinking again at full capacity right away? Lindsay Lohan, a US underage alcoholic, was also photographed late Friday night, after checking out of Wonderland Center, at the Los Angeles club Les Deux. Some photos show her talking to Justin Timberlake in the parking lot just as he was leaving the club. Earlier this month, Lohan and Paris Hilton sparked a media frenzy on their way out of Les Deux nightclub. "If anything has been learned, it's that what she needs comes first – and right now she needs focus." Currently Lohan is finishing "I Know Who Killed Me," which had to halt filming for a short time when allegedly she had surgery to get her appendix removed, and then entered the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles. Sloane added, "It's a mature thing to do...She's doing this so she can focus on getting better," reported TMZ.com. Meanwhile People magazine reports that Lohan also has upcoming commitments to do publicity junkets for her film, "Georgia Rule." "A Woman of No Importance" stars Annette Bening. "Lindsay is sad that she's unable to finally get to work with Annette, because she's a huge fan and respects her," says Sloane to People.
