Pamela Anderson thrilled fans by donning her famous red 'Baywatch' swimsuit again.The 39-year-old blonde, who starred as sexy lifeguard CJ Parker in the hit TV series, drew gasps from onlookers as she ran up and down a Malibu beach and frolicked in the surf - sparking rumors she is set to star in a comeback show. A source said: "Seeing Pamela in that lifeguard costume is probably one of the most famous images in the world. People stood and stared as she sprinted in the surf. I think a comeback series would still be a global hit."Pammie - who has had two children and two failed marriages since leaving the show almost a decade ago - showed she is still as sexy as she was in the show's hey day as she flaunted her curves.The actress recently announced she is to star in brand new series 'Malibu'created by the 'Baywatch' team. She said: "I can't say no to the guys from 'Baywatch', they are great to my kids - my schedule is built around theirs. It's just a few days a week and I'm close to home. I love the idea, 'The Flamingo Kid' meets 'Baywatch', the show is called 'Malibu'. I've come full circle - back to the beach."While there are rumors of a new 'Baywatch' TV series and movie, it has been reported Pammie re-created her lifeguard look for a TV commercial for sun lotion. At its peak, 'Baywatch' - which ran from 1989 to 2001 - was seen by a billion viewers in 148 countries, making it the most watched TV series ever.Pammie first appeared in the show in 1992, aged 25.

Pamela Anderson has vowed to return to a Russian orphanage after falling "in love" with the children.The actress - who was in Russia to co-host the MTV Russia Film Awards last week - said visiting the "inspiring" orphans was the highlight of the trip and really "opened her eyes".The former 'Baywatch' star wrote on her official website www.pamelaanderson.com: "I especially loved visiting an orphanage outside of Moscow. It was really eye opening - sad but inspiring to see these kids happy despite having nothing - really nothing, including parents."I'm going back to visit - I'm in love with them and their spirits."The 39-year-old - who has two sons, Brandon, 10, and Dylan, nine - also spent time learning about the Russian adoption system. She noted: "It's very difficult to adopt from Russia unless you are Russian or living in Russia. It's not common in their culture, and they do not have a foster care system". Pamela was touched by the orphans' "heart-wrenching" stories and is hopeful for their future. She added: "Their stories are heart-wrenching, but when you put your arms around these kids and kiss them - play games with them and listen to them sing and laugh - it really makes you reach inside - know how blessed we are - and know how much of a blessing it is that we can brighten a child's day."I have hope for them, they will survive, and I hope as this transition still occurs throughout Russia that they are given a chance."

Carmen Electra has been snubbed by the bosses of the 'Baywatch' movie.The sexy model-and-actress, who shot to fame in the hit lifeguard drama, has not been offered a cameo in the big screen adaptation of the hit TV show. Carmen - who starred in the US series alongside David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson - said: "I'm out. I've only heard about it through the press and nobody has contacted me to be in the film."I really enjoyed the reunion show we did through - it was fun to meet all the team again."Although Carmen, 34, has been overlooked for the film, Pamela has reportedly been offered a cameo role.The blonde actress, who played lifeguard C.J. Parker in the series, will make a guest appearance in the movie adaptation which will star a younger crop of beauties instead of the original cast. Producer Eli Roth said: "Pammie will do a cameo in the movie. But for the main cast, they want to go with a new crop of hotties. The other producers spoke to Pamela about it and she said she'd love to do a cameo. For me it wouldn't be Baywatch' without her"

Pamela Anderson has apologised for wearing dead sheep on her feet.The former 'Baywatch' star says she has thrown away her favourite Ugg boots, because she didn't know they were made from shaved sheep skin. She wrote on her personal website: "I'm getting rid of my Uggs - I feel so guilty for that craze being started around my 'Baywatch' days. I used to wear them with my red swim suit to keep warm never realizing that they were SKIN! I thought they were shaved kindly."The mother-of-two, who is a staunch animal rights activist and member of PETA, is wracked with guilt over the fact that women the world over followed in her footsteps by wearing the animal pelt boots. She added: "People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend - yikes! Well let's start a new one. Do NOT buy Uggs! Buy Stella McCartney or juicy boots. I'm looking for alternatives myself for my boys and the men in my life!"I'm designing some right now for my family and will try and have some available on my website soon."Pam is disgusted she has worn her boots for so long, writing: "It's what I grab by my door in the mornings to bring my kids to school or walk my dog on the beach at 6am or anything early. David Hasselhoff has started dressing in drag.The former 'Baywatch' actor is starring as cross-dressing director Roger DeBris in the Las Vegas production of hit Broadway musical 'The Producers' and is struggling with the costume. Hasselhoff said: "Now I know why women can't wait to get out of heels."I'll only wear the two inch pumps, if I wore the three inch I'd fall over like a giraffe."The actor also has to wear a 35lb beaded-gown for the part, along with a red wig. He added: "I look like Dennis Rodman on acid."Hasselhoff, 54, admits he was initially unsure about accepting the cross-dressing role. After deciding to play a transvestite, the actor realised most of his roles have been strange. He said: "I never thought I'd be talking to a car in 'Knight Rider' , or achieve syndication history with a crazy show like 'Baywatch'."Hasselhoff has decorated his dressing room backstage with life-size cut-outs and posters of himself in 'Baywatch' and 'Knight Rider'. He said: "I must be the most self-indulgent person to have this stuff. But I've got to market 'The Hoff'."

Pamela told PETA Vice-President Dan Mathews as she stood in the nude: "Don't worry, nowadays they can air brush out a baby as easily as a birthmark!" In his autobiography 'Committed: A Rabble-Rouser's Memoir' Mathews also reveals singer Chrissie Hynde (left) slashed leather jackets in the window of clothing store Gap .The company had infuriated her by asking to use one of her songs for their leather clothing advertising campaign. Mathews recalls: "Gap offered Hynde $100,000 to use one of her songs in its 'Everybody in Leather' campaign."She refused and then snuck into a Gap window display and pulled a switchblade on the mannequins to slice up their leather jackets."

A distraught Pamela Anderson rushed her sick dog to the vets early Monday morning .The former 'Baywatch' actress was seen taking her beloved pooch to a Malibu animal hospital.The medical emergency had obviously caught the blonde beauty by surprise as she appeared to have jumped straight out of bed, with dishevelled hair, a baggy cardigan and brown Ugg boots. At present it is not yet known what is wrong with the dog.The star is a huge animal lover and ardent animal rights campaigner. She recently turned down Julian Macdonald's personal invitation to his London Fashion Week show because of her anti-fur beliefs. Pamela also declined the Welsh fashion designer's offer to create her a bespoke outfit, because he uses animal pelts in his collections. Last year, she stripped off in the window of Stella McCartney's London boutique to raise awareness of the fur issue.
