DENISE RICHARDS WANTS MOM WITH HER

Denise Richards is taking care of mom !

Denise Richards is hunting for a bigger home so her ailing mother can move in with her. The actress' mother, Joni, is battling cancer and now the former "Bond" girl wants to invite her parents to live with her and her two daughters. Richards tells In Touch magazine, "I have decided to move to a larger and more secure home so my parents can move in with me, and my mother can be closer to her treatment center." The actress' mother, 53, was diagnosed with kidney cancer three-and-a-half years ago, but her condition has worsened in recent months.
Richards adds, "Helping my mother battle cancer is one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life. Her health and well-being are my main concern right now." The star has put her Hidden Hills, Calif., home on the market, and her parents have moved to Los Angeles from San Diego to help Richards house hunt.

JACK NICHOLSON HELPING CANCER VICTIMS

Jack Nicholson Is Not Joking !

Jack Nicholson has been comforting and consoling cancer victims at a Los Angeles hospital.The Hollywood legend has been visiting the dying patients at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, and cheering them up with card games and stories of his film career. A hospital source said: "He jokes, plays cards and treats patients like long-lost friends."He tries to see as many beds as possible and he brings in DVDs of his movies and talks hem through what happened behind the scenes."The Oscar-winning actor first went to the hospital to research his role in new movie 'The Bucket List', in which he plays a dying man. However, Jack became so touched and moved by the patients he has carried on his visits despite finishing filming. Hospital workers say his visits raise the patients' spirits immensely and they look forward to seeing him. But Jack, 69, finds it hard to leave the hospital because he worries who will still be alive when he next visits.The source added: "He feels terrible leaving, knowing he's maybe seen some of them for the last time."

Denise Richards Can Count On Richie Sambora

Denise Richards and boyfriend Richie Sambora both have a parent battling cancer.The actress, who made the revelation at Hollywood's GM Ten fashion show on Tuesday, said they are supporting each other through tough times. Denise said: "My mother has cancer and Richie's father has cancer. It's hard. Thank God Richie and I have each other not only to go through divorce, but to go through both our parents being ill."The 'Blonde and Blonder' star has been helping to raise money for Houston's M.D. Anderson Cancer Center , which is treating both Denise and Richie's parents.When asked about her relationship with Richie, she told People magazine : "You know, I'm really happy. I'm just taking one day at a time in my life."Denise and the Bon Jovi guitarist began dating following her split from husband of four years, Charlie Sheen, and Richie's separation from actress Heather Locklear, who filed for divorce in February 2006. Denise has two daughters, Sam J and Lola Rose, while Richie has one daughter, Ava.

KYLIE MINOGUE WON'T GIVE UP EX'S DOG

Kylie Minogue may have dumped Olivier Martinez, but she is still in love with his dog.The 'Spinning Around' singer, who ended her four-year relationship with the 41-year-old French actor earlier this month, can't give up her ex-lover's pet pooch Sheba. During a recent trip to Paris for a cancer check-up at the Institute Gustave Roussy Kylie stayed at Olivier's apartment and took Sheba out for a walk. Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears, who is good friends with Kylie, told Britain's Grazia magazine : "Kylie loves that dog. I'm sure she'll still see her when ever she likes."The diminutive pop star previously revealed that Sheba took a while to warm to her when she started dating Olivier. Kylie, 38, said: "At first, Sheba was a little resistant of the idea of there being another female in Olivier's life. But it was a territorial thing. She was very important during my treatment. There were many long hugs on the sofa."Since the split, Kylie has rubbished rumors Olivier - who has been romantically linked to Michelle Rodriguez and Israeli model Sarai Givati -cheated on her during their relationship. She said: "None of the rumors about Olivier cheating are true. I don't believe any of it."Olivier and I still care a lot about each other and there's still a lot of love there between us. I still speak to Olivier and you never know what will happen in the future."

GWYNETH PALTROW SCARED OF CANCER

Gwyneth Paltrow believes her family have been "cursed" by cancer.The Oscar-winning actress lost her father Bruce to the disease in 2002, both her grandmothers and a cousin, who was only 23. Gwyneth, 34, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is hoping her vegan diet will keep her healthy. Speaking at an international anti-cancer campaign last night, she said: "I am challenging these evil genes by natural means. I am convinced that by eating biological foods it is possible to avoid tumors."Gwyneth follows a macrobiotic diet, mainly consisting of whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruit and vegetables. However, she does have a treat once in a while. Gwyneth said: "I'm not as stringent as I was in the past. Now I'll have cheese once in a while or white flour, but I still believe in whole grains and no sugar."

KYLIE MINOGUE DENIES BOYFRIEND'S AFFAIR

Kylie Minogue has rubbished rumors her ex-boyfriend Olivier Martinez cheated on her during their relationship.The Australian singer and the French actor ended their four-year romance earlier this month and despite reports Olivier had been unfaithful, Kylie doesn't believe any of the allegations levelled against her former lover.While promoting her new perfume, 'Darling', at London's world famous Harrods department store this week, she said: "None of the rumors about Olivier cheating are true. I don't believe any of it."Olivier and I still care a lot about each other and there's still a lot of love there between us. I still speak to Olivier and you never know what will happen in the future."She also tackled the allegations on her personal website, saying: "It is grossly unfair to demonise an honest man."Kylie - who battled breast cancer in 2005 - and Olivier's relationship was constantly tested by rumors of infidelity.The 41-year-old actor was linked to Israeli model Sarai Givati - who he is alleged to have enjoyed a Parisian break with in November 2006 - and former 'Lost' star Michelle Rodriguez. In 2005, he was spotted dining with actress Salma Hayek and George Clooney's ex, French model Celine Balitran. On Saturday February 3, just hours after Kylie, 38, and Olivier announced their split, the actor was seen embracing actress Penelope Cruz at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont Hotel - the same hotel where he fell in love with the 'Spinning Around' singer.

FARRAH FAWCETT CANCER FREE

Farrah Fawcett is cancer-free, her publicist said on Friday. Dr. Gary Gitnick, Fawcett's lead physician at the UCLA, said the actress "has had a full and complete response to treatment. Her prognosis is excellent." The former Charlie's Angel star spoke out herself in the statement, saying, "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease." The news comes as a great birthday present for Texan native Fawcett. She turned 60 the other day.
