Courtney Love has allegedly had a gastric band fitted.The former Hole singer has lost over 44 pounds in four months which she publicly credited to a macrobiotic diet of vegetables and fish, and yoga. However, Love - the widow of Kurt Cobain - has reportedly admitted to friends her dramatic weight loss is down to surgery. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "She's telling people she has had gastric band surgery. She even said she has to sleep with a towel by her because the surgery makes her throw up all the time and is worried she won'tbe able to make out with anyone because of her breath."Love's representative denies she had a band fitted. He claims he has dined at macrobiotic restaurants with the star. He said: "It's not true. She says she never got surgery."

Willis was celebrating his 52nd birthday at the Roxy nightclub on Sunset Boulevard last Monday night -- where British soul star Amy Winehouse was performing - and sources say he enjoyed a passionate embrace with 42-year-old Love. An eye-witness says, "They were full-on making out." But while Willis' spokesman declined to comment on the alleged incident, the rocker's representative denied the clinch, saying, "(It was) a quick hi, and then they went their separate ways."

According to the New York Daily News newspaper, Courtney has revealed she saw a pile of "white powder" in the rest room.The rocker's claims are now jeopardising the latest series of 'The Simple Life', starring Paris and Nicole Richie. The pair are working as camp counsellors in the reality show, but their suitability has now been questioned. Jerry Silverman of the Foundation for Jewish Camping said: "Counsellors are trained, recruited, and tested. We take it very seriously."Nicole Richie collapsed on the set of 'The Simple Life' and was briefly hospitalised and treated for dehydration on Friday. Her representative said: "Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening. We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health."The 25-year-old star, adopted daughter of Lionel Richie, was given intravenous fluids for 15 minutes and released.

Courtney Love is in talks to make a film about her late husband Kurt Cobain.The Nirvana singer could be immortalised on the big screen after widow Love acquired the rights to 'Heavier Than Heaven' - a biography written by Charles Cross. Love has confirmed the project is "in an embryonic stage" and she is currently in talks with several studios. She wrote on her website www.moonwashedrose.com "It has no script and no director attached, let alone stars."But if the movie is made it will of course be an A list and high end film."If a deal is agreed, this will be the first authorised movie about Cobain, his time in Nirvana and his relationship with Love.'Last Days', considered by many to be director Gus Van Sant's unauthorised account of Cobain's life, starred Michael Pitt as a Seattle musician whose career bore a striking resemblance to Cobain's. On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead in his home. He had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun, although conspiracy theorists now dispute he took his own life. Love is currently working on her second solo album, tentatively titled 'How Dirty Girls Get Clean'.
