KYLIE MINOGUE WON'T GIVE UP EX'S DOG

Kylie Minogue may have dumped Olivier Martinez, but she is still in love with his dog.The 'Spinning Around' singer, who ended her four-year relationship with the 41-year-old French actor earlier this month, can't give up her ex-lover's pet pooch Sheba. During a recent trip to Paris for a cancer check-up at the Institute Gustave Roussy Kylie stayed at Olivier's apartment and took Sheba out for a walk. Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears, who is good friends with Kylie, told Britain's Grazia magazine : "Kylie loves that dog. I'm sure she'll still see her when ever she likes."The diminutive pop star previously revealed that Sheba took a while to warm to her when she started dating Olivier. Kylie, 38, said: "At first, Sheba was a little resistant of the idea of there being another female in Olivier's life. But it was a territorial thing. She was very important during my treatment. There were many long hugs on the sofa."Since the split, Kylie has rubbished rumors Olivier - who has been romantically linked to Michelle Rodriguez and Israeli model Sarai Givati -cheated on her during their relationship. She said: "None of the rumors about Olivier cheating are true. I don't believe any of it."Olivier and I still care a lot about each other and there's still a lot of love there between us. I still speak to Olivier and you never know what will happen in the future."

PAMELA ANDERSONS DOG RUSHED TO HOSPITAL FOR EMERGENCY

A distraught Pamela Anderson rushed her sick dog to the vets early Monday morning .The former 'Baywatch' actress was seen taking her beloved pooch to a Malibu animal hospital. The medical emergency had obviously caught the blonde beauty by surprise as she appeared to have jumped straight out of bed, with dishevelled hair, a baggy cardigan and brown Ugg boots. At present it is not yet known what is wrong with the dog.The star is a huge animal lover and ardent animal rights campaigner. She recently turned down Julian Macdonald's personal invitation to his London Fashion Week show because of her anti-fur beliefs. Pamela also declined the Welsh fashion designer's offer to create her a bespoke outfit, because he uses animal pelts in his collections. Last year, she stripped off in the window of Stella McCartney's London boutique to raise awareness of the fur issue.

PARIS HILTON'S TINKERBELL SWITCH

Paris Hilton's Chihuahua Tinkerbell is an impostor, it has been claimed. The hotel heiress's favourite pet - who she was once inseparable from -disappeared in 2004 and has rarely been seen since. Paris recently brought a Chihuahua to the set of her new film 'The Hottie and the Nottie' which she introduced as Tinkerbell but when compared to old photos of her mutt it doesn't appear to be the same dog. A representative for Paris has denied the canine switch, saying: "There's only one Tinkerbell. The color of Chihuahuas change as they grow older."But pet expert Charlotte Reed, author of 'The Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette', told Us Weekly magazine: "A Chihuahua's fur may grey with age, but dog nail color stays the same."In the older picture, Tinkerbell has a black nail, while in the new one,the nail is white. I don't think it's the same dog."

LILY ALLEN'S DOG KIDNAPPED

Lily Allen has been reunited with her dog napped pooch after paying a reward. The 'Smile' singer - whose beloved English bull terrier Maggie May was snatched a week ago - rushed back from her holiday in the Caribbean after hearing it had been handed over to friends in exchange for the money. She said: "I can't tell you how overjoyed I am to have her back, how grateful I am to everyone who has sent kind words and helped to find her. It's been an awful experience."Lily's dog was taken after being left briefly in a van outside the house of her friend who was looking after the mutt while the singer was on holiday. After Lily offered the reward, the thieves got in touch, claiming they had bought the dog as a present, but were willing to give it back in exchange for the cash. She said: "I realised these people were obviously in the business of moving dogs. Now I feel guilty for having given them the money but I love my dog and had no choice. The fact that she was very thin made me think she was not fed and she was infested with flees."The matter is now being handled by the police and the RSPCA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
