Marilyn Manson says new love Evan Rachel Wood (left) is his soulmate.The goth rocker, who split with wife Dita Von Teese late last year, says the young actress is his perfect partner.The 38-year-old told France's Le Parisien newspaper: "I've found my double, my twin, with my new girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood."She's 19 and certainly that's very young, but that's not a problem for me. She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn."Manson, who is promoting his sixth album 'Eat Me, Drink Me', says his difficult break-up was his inspiration for the record. He explained: "Our relationship ended at Halloween. I was completely destroyed psychologically. I'd rented a house and begun working on this disc, which sort of tells everything that happened to me during the past year."Manson says the marriage failed because he didn't want to settle down and become "more adult". He explained: "I was married to someone who wanted me to change. Become more adult, more responsible. I began not to like myself, not like what I do. I lost my identity. Everything began collapsing around me. The record allowed me to put an end to that. Dita left at Christmas while I was recording."Manson - real name Brian Warner - and burlesque star Dita began dating in 2001, before marrying in December 2005. It has been reported the rocker's relationship with Evan was a factor in Dita's decision to file for divorce last December. Manson met Evan after casting her in his new horror movie 'Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll'.

MID-LIFE CRSIS FOR MARILYN MANSON

Marilyn Manson's friends have blasted his alleged romance with young actress Evan Rachel Wood (LEFT). Those close to the shock rocker - whose wife Dita Von Teese filed for divorce after Christmas - say Manson, 38, is suffering from a mid-life crisis because he has chosen a lover exactly like his estranged wife, just younger. One friend told People magazine: "It's like he's having a mid-life crisis, he's with a younger version of Dita."Manson's friends say they noticed the striking similarity between the two women when Wood, 19, turned up for Manson's birthday party earlier this month looking just like Dita. The source added: "She had her hair and make-up done like Dita."Manson is also said to have received a rather unconventional birthday present from his new flame, a live scorpion in a cage. Dita filed for divorce from Manson on December 29, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. It has been alleged the burlesque dancer - who had been dating Manson for seven years before they tied the knot in 2006 - grew tired of his frequent partying, budding friendship with Lindsay Lohan and his lack of interest in having a baby.
