Josh Holloway Believes In Drunk Driving And Speeding

Josh Holloway believes the cast of 'Lost' are being targeted by the police.The actor - who plays Sawyer in the cult plane crash drama - believes the cast have become "easy targets" for police in Hawaii where the series is filmed.Three of Holloway's co-stars have been arrested for car-related incidents,while he has received a speeding ticket.The 36-year-old star said in an interview with Glamour magazine: "First of all we're on an island which means it's very easily patrolled. And we happen to be famous. I told them they should be embarrassed about giving me a ticket for doing 53 in a 35 zone. I mean, come on! Go catch real criminals!" Holloway's former co-star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was arrested last year for driving without a license and disobeying a police officer. In December 2005, Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were arrested on drunk-driving charges. Another six 'Lost' actors, including Holloway, have also been formally cautioned by police. Dominic Monaghan and Naveen Andrews have both been stopped twice for speeding. Monaghan was also reprimanded for driving without a license.

Josh Holloway says he and his 'Lost' co-star Evangeline Lilly have become great friends through filming love scenes together.The hunky actor insists his off-screen friendship with Evangeline has blossomed because of how close their characters - Sawyer and Kate - have become. Josh told Britain's New magazine: "Evangeline and I have such a great friendship now. And we trust each other so much as actors that we are able to actually live it. Our friendship has deepened. When you're trying to work honestly, it's natural that you become closer as friends. It's definitely not a sexy thing. When you've got 80 people watching it can be daunting, but you get used to it."Josh has also revealed he gets on very well with Evangeline's fiancé, fellow 'Lost' star Dominic Monaghan, and says his wife Yessica is friends with Evangeline. He said: "We have a very good friendship. Evangeline has a great friendship with my wife and I have a friendship with Dom."But I'm sure Sawyer's going to mess it up with Kate pretty quick! It's his nature."

Josh Holloway wants his 'Lost' character Sawyer to die in a grisly, "Braveheart-style battle". Although Josh is not sure about Sawyer's fate, if he does get killed off he wants to go out with a bang just like Mel Gibson's character William Wallace did in the epic Scottish film. He told Britain's New magazine: "In the current atmosphere of TV shows the writers are willing to kill a main character without any problem. So that's a possibility."But when it happens, I want a big, bloody Braveheart-style battle. I want Sawyer to die badly!"Josh is currently shooting movie thriller 'Whisper', in which he plays a completely different character to Sawyer. He explains: "I chose that role because it was the opposite. The character I play is a bad person with a good heart and I thought it would be interesting to play a more heroic character."'Whisper' is due out later this year.
