Keifer Sutherland now toasts Julia Roberts !

Kiefer Sutherland has forgiven Julia for leaving him for his best friend. Roberts ran off with actor Jason Patric just days before she was due to marry the '24' star 16 years ago. Sutherland, 40, said: "I commend Julia for seeing how young and silly we were, even as painful and difficult as it was." But he was not in such forgiving mood when it came to his 'Lost Boys' co-star Patric, adding: "We were friends. I never got a call." Kiefer, son of acting legend Donald Sutherland, left his wife and children to move in with Roberts just months after meeting her on the set of 1990 movie 'Flatliners'. Reports claimed the 'Pretty Woman' actress fled to Europe with Patric after learning Sutherland had slept with a stripper. Julia Roberts is now married to cinematographer Danny Moder, who she met on the set of 'The Mexican' in 2002. Sutherland divorced his wife of eight years Kelly Win in 2004.

JULIA ROBERTS EXPECTING A BABY BOY

Julia Roberts has been told she is expecting a baby boy. The 'Closer' actress - who already has two-year-old twins, son Phinnaeus and daughter Hazel, with her cameraman husband Danny Moder is said to be thrilled with the news. One friend of Roberts told America's Star magazine: "She loves being a mom and she can't wait for her third baby to be born. She wants a big family." It has also been revealed that the baby is due on June 22. The 39-year-old star admitted when she announced the pregnancy she had almost "given up hope" of conceiving again after trying for another baby for over a year. Roberts said: "We had almost given up hope. But nature took its course soon after we stopped looking at the calendar and taking temperatures."The Oscar-winning actress has previously admitted that becoming a mother has helped her grow as a person. She said: "I definitely feel that I've expanded as a human being. I have more empathy and more compassion, I think, because I feel so blessed on a level that I can't even wrap my mind around really."

Denzel Washington turned down a love scene with Julia Roberts, because she wasn't black.The 'Déjà Vu' actor was cast opposite the Oscar-winning actress in 'ThePelican Brief' on Roberts' own insistence, but he refused to take part in the sex scene in the original script out of loyalty to his female African-American fans. According to Newsweek journalist Allison Samuels' new book 'Off the Record',Washington said: "Black women are not often seen as objects of desire on film. And they have always been my core audience."Washington also revealed he turned down the lead role in 'Love Field' with Michelle Pfeiffer because of the film's use of the word nigger. He said: "It was nigger this and nigger that. I wasn't going to be one of many niggers in a film."
