KATHLEEN TURNER MISSING PERFORMANCES
Kathleen Turner missed at least three midweek performances of the touring Broadway production of Edward Albee's “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” at the LaSalle Bank Theatre in Chicago, where the show plays through Saturday. Turner plays Martha opposite Bill Irwin’s George. An eyewitness reported a chaotic scene Thursday night, with some patrons having made two trips in the hopes of seeing Turner’s star turn, only to find themselves thwarted. A Broadway in Chicago spokesman said Turner has been ill this week. She performed Friday night.
