Jennifer Hudson is reportedly set to marry this spring.The Oscar-winning 'Dreamgirls' actress - who is about to start recording her first album - pledged to marry maintenance engineer James Peyton when she made it big, and now James is taking her up on her promise. A source told National Enquirer magazine: "James didn't want to let Jennifer slip away. After she won the Oscar, James reminded her that she promised him they would get married as soon as she got her singing career off the ground."Jennifer, 25, who is due to begin filming new drama 'Winged Creatures', has been dating James for eight years.The former 'American Idol' contestant says James is the one for her because he makes her feel secure. She said: "The difference is, why would I pick somebody new when it's like,'You don't know me. You just see the Jennifer Hudson that's in 'Dreamgirls'or the Jennifer Hudson from 'American Idol'.' "

TOBEY MAGUIRE'S VIEW ON THE PAPARAZZI

Tobey Maguire has blasted attention-seeking celebrities.The 'Spiderman' star has no sympathy for stars that seek the limelight and then complain about being hounded by paparazzi. He told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I look at people in gossip magazines and I can't imagine what it's like. It seems some of them bring it on themselves - it fuels them. I've always avoided things that would put me out there."Tobey, 31, admits he was blown away by the excitement surrounding the first 'Spider-Man' film, but has since managed to retain a level of privacy.The actor loves spending time with fiancée Jennifer Meyer and their five-month-old daughter Ruby. He said: "I love being a dad. I love holding my little girl and going off to work and not wanting to let her go. Now I've got two girls- I love it - it's the best!"But despite his description of domestic bliss, Tobey is in such demand in Hollywood that he can't find the time to set a date for the couple's wedding. Jada, 35, told Britain's Independent newspaper: "I'm very aware how busy careers can quickly lead to divorce, but I'm not going to let that happen to us. I will throw my career away before I let it break up our marriage. I made it clear to Will. I'd throw it away completely, which is what I'm doing to a certain extent."In her latest film, Jada plays a wife trapped in an unhappy marriage. She claims the role taught her how to make her own marriage stronger. Jada said: "For me, these were experiences that were relatable, but the most interesting aspect of the relationship between this particular couple is that you see all the time how the smallest little germs can get inside of a relationship, things that aren't really tangible, but can create such a huge deterioration within a marriage."And you see this all the time - these are the things that you always have to be careful of."Even though you have this union as husband and wife, you can never forget who you are, just simply as yourself. JON CRYER TO WED LISA JOYNER

Actor Jon Cryer, who stars in CBS's "Two and a Half Men" has announced he and TV journalist Lisa Joyner will be married in Mexico. Cryer -- who had previously announced the engagement in a January appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" -- said the wedding is set for June, People Magazine reported. The 41-year-old actor -- who has a 6-year-old son from a former marriage to actress Sarah Trigger -- also told People that after taking Joyner as his date to the Emmy Awards, "I have to say the highlight was doing the red carpet with my girl." Cryer says, "It'll be a small ceremony. There will be fireworks. I'm excited about it." Cryer split up with his first wife in 2004. The actor started dating Joyner in 2005 after reportedly spotting her gardening while walking past her Hollywood home. The couple sold the two homes they owned last year and moved in together.

Sir Ben Kingsley is to marry new love Daniela Barbosa.The 'Ghandi' legend, who announced his relationship with the actress to the world when they attended a Hollywood premiere last year, has revealed the pair are engaged. Sir Ben, who has been married three times before, said: "I'm very happy. Marriage is going to happen, but I don't know when. I call her my fiancée because she is."Daniela, 32, who uses the stage name Daniela Lavender, has appeared in BBC TV drama 'Casualty' and also had a role in Sacha Baron Cohen's 'Ali G Indahouse'. Usher has confirmed he is engaged.The singer's spokeswoman announced the happy news on Friday revealing Usher has proposed to stylist lover Tameka Foster.Publicist Simone Smalls didn't provide any further details, although Usher,28, has previously said he would love to marry before the end of the year. Engagement rumors were rife earlier this year after Tameka was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring. Friends also revealed the R'n'B singer was introducing Tameka - who he has been dating for over a year - as his fiancée. However, Usher's mother Jonetta Patton may not be so happy to hear about the engagement. Jonetta - who is Usher's manager - has fallen out with Tameka in the past. She fired her as her son's stylist because "she didn't think she was dressing him according to the calibre of star he was".Tameka - who only recently divorced her first husband - has three children and is ten years older than Usher.

The Hollywood couple fell in love with the Dominican Republic during a recent holiday and have allegedly decided it is the perfect place for their nuptials. A source told Britain's OK! magazine: "While they were in the Dominican Republic, Brad bought a huge plot of land and helped design a fabulous house."It's there they intend to become Mr and Mrs Pitt."Brad, 43, and Angelina, 31 - who have three adopted children, Pax Thien, Maddox and Zahara, and a daughter Shiloh together - are expected to fly out to the exotic country in the next two weeks and want the ceremony to be a"family affair". Bam Magera married his childhood sweetheart Missy Rothstein recently. The pair married early in downtown Philadelphia. Bam Margera, a pro skateboarder who is known for his crazy stunts on the hit show Jackass. He actually started a group called CKY, which Jackass later evolved from. CKY did many of the crazy stunts that Jackass became known for and grew a cult following among people around the world. When you don't see Bam Margera doing crazy stunts for the Jackass crew, you can see him doing stunts for his skateboarding team Element Skateboards. He is also sponsored by Adio Footwear, Destructo Trucks, Speed Metal Bearings, Electric Visual, and Fairman's Skateshop. Margera is a busy man who will be even more busy because of his new marriage.The couple held their wedding in front of 350 friends and an MTV crew. The crew was finishing up taping of "Bam's Unholy Union". Throughout the show you can see Magera pushing his fiance to the edge. Rothstein shows how much she loves Margera by putting up with several of his stunts that cause the wedding planning to be even more difficult. The wedding went on as planned and Bam Margera's stunts did not cause Rothstein to call off the wedding to her childhood sweetheart. Several members of Jackass attended the wedding. The festivities included a performance by rocker Iggy Pop. The rocker has been good friends with Margera for several years. Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk also was on hand to congratulate Margera on his new marriage. Another celebrity on hand was James Iha, formerly of the alternative rock band Smashing Pumpkins. Surprisingly though, there were no stunts to draw attention away from the wedding day itself.

A source said: "They want to spend the rest of their lives together."Last December, Evangeline's rented Hawaii home - which she shared with several other female members of the 'Lost' crew - burnt down in an accidental fire while she was away on set filming.
