Denise Richards Can Count On Richie Sambora

Denise Richards and boyfriend Richie Sambora both have a parent battling cancer.The actress, who made the revelation at Hollywood's GM Ten fashion show on Tuesday, said they are supporting each other through tough times. Denise said: "My mother has cancer and Richie's father has cancer. It's hard. Thank God Richie and I have each other not only to go through divorce, but to go through both our parents being ill."The 'Blonde and Blonder' star has been helping to raise money for Houston's M.D. Anderson Cancer Center , which is treating both Denise and Richie's parents.When asked about her relationship with Richie, she told People magazine : "You know, I'm really happy. I'm just taking one day at a time in my life."Denise and the Bon Jovi guitarist began dating following her split from husband of four years, Charlie Sheen, and Richie's separation from actress Heather Locklear, who filed for divorce in February 2006. Denise has two daughters, Sam J and Lola Rose, while Richie has one daughter, Ava.

Jon Bon Jovi reportedly hates bandmate Richie Sambora's girlfriend Denise Richards, and wants to ban her from joining the group on tour. Singer Jon is said to be fed up with the 'Wild Girls' actress distracting the guitarist and has made it clear to Richie he prefers it when she is not around. A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Jon does not like Denise. She's distracting. There's too much media attention when Denise is around, and Jon thinks she's really annoying and doesn't like when Richie's around her."The final straw came when Denise travelled to Dublin to see the band during their 'Have a Nice Day' tour last year, prompting a media circus. The situation is allegedly so serious Richie's place in the band could be under threat.The source added: "Bon Jovi the band is literally just Jon Bon Jovi. Everyone else is an employee, like a member of staff."Bon Jovi's representative has vehemently denied the reports, saying they are simply "not true". Richie and Denise started dating last year, while she was in the middle of her bitter divorce battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and the rocker was involved in his own divorce from estranged wife Heather Locklear - who was once a close friend of Denise's.

Denise Richards and Richie Sambora are planning to marry in Italy this summer, it has been claimed.The actress, the ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen, and the Bon Jovi guitarist are reportedly planning to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Milan. A friend of Denise's told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Denise loves Milan so it will probably be there." The pal also revealed that the couple do not want a big Hollywood wedding and are only planning to invite around 50 guests, all of which will be just family and close friends. Denise and Richie caused a storm when they began dating shortly after the rocker separated from his wife and Denise's close friend actress Heather Locklear (Top Left) last April. However, Denise's ex Charlie gave his former spouse and Richie his blessing. He said: "Well, at least I knew the guy that she wound up with. To know that it's somebody decent and smart and a good parent to be around your children, that's a good thing."Denise and Charlie have two daughters, Lola and Sam, together.
