JOE PESCI TERRIFIES HIS NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Singer Robbie Williams terrified !

Robbie Williams was left terrified after his neighbor Joe Pesci threatened him with a golf club during a furious bust-up.The 64-year-old actor saw red when Robbie invited his friends over to his Los Angeles home for a game of soccer and they blocked Pesci's driveway with their cars. Pesci stormed out brandishing a club, ranting: "Which one of you mother f***ers blocked my drive?" If you don't move in 30 seconds, I'm going to smash your windscreen."Robbie - who has a soccer pitch at his home and holds weekly matches -initially thought his Oscar-winning neighbor was joking, but quickly realised the star was serious and ordered his friends to move their vehicles. A pal of the 'Rudebox' singer compared the row to a scene from 'Goodfellas', in which Pesci played psychotic gangster Tommy DeVito. The friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was pretty terrifying in 'Goodfellas' when Pesci's character flew off the handle. Imagine seeing it in real life. Robbie has never had any sort of dispute with his neighbors before and has now given his friends strict instructions to steerclear of Pesci's driveway."One of the things he really likes about Los Angeles is the anonymity - big showdowns are the last thing he wants."

ROBBIE WILLIAMS WANTS TO PLAY VILLAGE PEOPLE STAR RANDY JONES IN MOVIE

Village People Icon Randy Jones

WONDERING what Robbie Williams might look like in cowboy drag? That fantasy might come true if reports of his desire to lens a film about the Village People are on the mark. According to England's Daily Star, the British superstar has offered 950,000 [pounds sterling] for the movie rights to the tale of the legendary disco act. Word has it that Williams has his heart set on donning the chaps and cowboy hat originally worn by the VP's original cowboy, Randy Jones. Unconfirmed reports have Williams, even from rehab, continuing to put out feelers attempting to secure the rights. American Music Award winner Jones, who is currently on tour promoting his new solo CD, "Ticket to the World" and celebrating the 30th anniversary of Village People. WWW.TimesSquareGossip.com called Randy Jones at home and he told us: " I personally think Robbie is hands-down, one of the sexiest and most talented entertainers on the planet today,. I'm confident that my cowboy character from Village People will be in good hands with Robbie. For my money, I couldn't possibly come up with a more bodacious bum to fill my jeans and portray me on the big screen. I would even be willing to donate my moustache,..if he needs it! And I'm sending him lots of good wishes while he's doing time in rehab." Some may think this is a smart move. But one thing's for sure; if Robbie wanted to get in America's face and hit the market with a bang, he will surely pull that off through this, to say the least. And although Williams admits that, "Some of the Village People were gay, some of them weren't," he feels that their story needs to be told nonetheless. We can name at least one demographic that Robbie will be popular with after this movie is released.

Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams earns over $400,000.00 a week, making him one of the highest paid pop stars in the world. The 'Angels' singer paid himself almost 14 million in 2006 alone and has earned over $80 million in the last four years. The staggering figures were filed by the accountants of Robbie's firm The In Good Company Co Ltd, which was set up in 2002 after the singer signed a multi-million dollar deal with EMI records. According to the documents for the year ending March 2006, the 32-year-old star's substantial payment was based on an increase in his financial turnover - which rose to millions the year before. The extra earnings came from the sales of Robbie's 2005 album 'Intensive Care', and his website, www.robbiewilliams.com , which charges a membership fee. In March 2006, the 'Let Me Entertain You' singer also had around 60 million in his bank account, which is believed to have eventually been spent on his 'Intensive Care' tour.
