DREW BARRYMORE'S NEW ROMANCE

Always Friendly Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore has been seen kissing director Spike Jonze (right). Drew, who split from Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti in January, was caught canoodling with Spike during dinner at Santa Monica's Ivy at the Shore restaurant on Tuesday. A source told several websites: "They were all over each other during their date."Spike, 37, who directed 'Being John Malkovich' starring Drew's close friend Cameron Diaz, is the ex-husband of director Sofia Coppola. Sofia was reportedly so irritated by Cameron when she worked with Spike, she based the obnoxious, dizzy blonde character of Kelly in 'Lost In Translation' on her. Meanwhile, Drew has confessed she can't stop smiling and is "disgustingly"optimistic. The 32-year-old said: "I don't know why I am always this happy but I have such a great life. I can't help but be happy. I am just disgustingly always optimistic. It's got to be weird."Drew also revealed she is much happier since splitting from Fabrizio, who she dated for four- and-a-half years, because she can channel her energies into making herself happy. She admitted: "It's a win-win situation."

DREW BARRYMORE GOT A VALENTINE

Valentine Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore found a date in time for Valentine's Day.The 'Music and Lyrics' star was seen at an Arcade Fire concert, at New York's Judson Church, cuddling up to director Spike Jonze (Left) on Wednesday night. A source told the New York Post newspaper : "They were cuddling and looking very lovey-dovey."Jonze was previously married to 'Lost In Translation' director Sofia Coppola. Barrymore had feared she would spend Valentine's alone. She said: "I'm not sure what I'm doing for Valentine's Day. I will probably go bowling with all of my single girlfriends. Well, we have such a good time together and I love my girlfriends. We go out to dinner, to the movies, out drinking wine. It's a great time to see my friends."The 31-year-old actress recently split from her boyfriend of five years Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, after admitting she had commitment problems. Shortly before the split, Barrymore said: "You shouldn't take love and your relationship so dammed heavy all the time. You need to reinvent your relationship if you want to continue being together. Right now I'm in a phase of, 'I'm not even your girlfriend. I'm your best friend who is madly in love with you.'"The longest I've ever been with someone was like two to three years, so I'm in uncharted waters."
