KIRSTEN DUNST : SPIDERMAN 4 WILL BE A FLOP WITHOUT HER !

Tobey Maguire as Spiderman

Kirsten Dunst believes 'Spiderman 4' will be a flop if she and Tobey Maguire don't star in it.The actress - who plays Mary Jane Watson, the love interest of the superhero's alter-ego Peter Parker, in the hit movie series - insists any attempt to continue the franchise without her, Tobey - who plays the web-slinger - and director Sam Raimi would be a box-office disaster. She told Entertainment Weekly: "Audiences aren't stupid. It'd be a big flop without me, Tobey or Sam."Dunst is doubtful Sony Pictures would want to make a fourth movie if Raimi wasn't at the helm. She added: "That would really not be the smartest move. But they already know that." Dunst and Maguire have both distanced themselves from a fourth movie, with the pair admitting they would like to pursue other roles. Maguire said: "I feel like this film is kind of a natural conclusion to alot of stuff that's happened in the first two movies. It kind of feels likea natural trilogy. I'm not going to make more just because they've been successful."Raimi is rumored to be in the running to direct the film version of J.R.R.Tolkien's classic novel 'The Hobbit', which is a prequel to the 'Lord of the Rings' books. He is said to be first choice if New Zealand filmmaker Peter Jackson, who directed the Oscar-winning 'Lord of the Rings' films, turns the project down. Meanwhile, 'Spiderman 3' had its world premiere in Tokyo yesterday the other day. Maguire took his jewellery maker fiancée Jennifer Meyer and their baby daughter Ruby along to the glitzy event because he can't bear to be apartfrom them. The actor - who braved the rain to walk down the red carpet with his co-star Dunst - said: "I love being a dad. I didn't want to be away from them and Ididn't want my fiancée Jen to miss this. It's a pretty eventful moment and Iwanted to be with them. I haven't been away for a night yet."After several premieres across the globe 'Spiderman 3' opens worldwide on May 4.

TOBEY MAGUIRE'S VIEW ON THE PAPARAZZI

Tobey Maguire has blasted attention-seeking celebrities. The 'Spiderman' star has no sympathy for stars that seek the limelight and then complain about being hounded by paparazzi. He told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I look at people in gossip magazines and I can't imagine what it's like. It seems some of them bring it on themselves - it fuels them. I've always avoided things that would put me out there."Tobey, 31, admits he was blown away by the excitement surrounding the first 'Spider-Man' film, but has since managed to retain a level of privacy. The actor loves spending time with fiancée Jennifer Meyer and their five-month-old daughter Ruby. He said: "I love being a dad. I love holding my little girl and going off to work and not wanting to let her go. Now I've got two girls- I love it - it's the best!"But despite his description of domestic bliss, Tobey is in such demand in Hollywood that he can't find the time to set a date for the couple's wedding. He moaned: "I have obligations to travel for the next couple of months and we have to decide how big we want it. It's tricky."

TOBEY MAGUIRE HINTS AT SPIDERMAN 4

Tobey Maguire could be talked into Spiderman 4

Tobey Maguire has hinted he could star in 'Spider-Man 4'.The actor, who previously said he was done playing the web-slinging super hero after completing the hotly-anticipated 'Spider-Man 3', admits he could be tempted to don the suit again if there was a great script. He said in an interview with Sci-Fi Wire: "It all depends on if there's a story worth telling. I feel very proud of the three movies that we've made. I feel like the stories all deserve to be told, and, you know, if they come up with a good movie, and the whole team wants to get back together, and we feel like we can make a good movie that's worth making, then I'm up for it."Tobey, 31, previously admitted he was ready to walk away from his most famous role to star in more serious movies. He said at the time: "'Spider-Man 3' might be a good place to stop - I am not tied contractually to any more 'Spider-Man' movies. I would say the odds were in favor of this being the last one."Tobey's co-star Kirsten Dunst - who plays Mary Jane Watson, the love interest of Spider-Man's alter-ego Peter Parker - has previously admitted she is ready for new challenges. She said: "I'm not the type of actress who does movie after movie."
