Candy, who recently made peace with her daughter, visited exclusive Hollywood baby boutique Petit Tresor on Wednesday, the day after grandson Liam was born, and bought an array of lavish presents. A source said: "Candy spent over $1,700 in the store. She bought a $1,250 Mia Bossi leather diaper bag, half-a-dozen romper suits and gowns, airplane booties and a babybot mobile."Candy and Tori stopped speaking after Aaron Spelling, Candy's husband and Tori's father, died and left Tori a derisory sum in his will. After Liam was born, Candy said: "Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event."I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."

TORI SPELLING GIVES BIRTH TO BOY

Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling has become a mother for the first time, giving birth to a boy, People magazine reported. Liam Aaron McDermott was born Tuesday in a Los Angeles hospital to his American mom, 33, and her actor husband, Canadian Dean McDermott, 40, the US celebrity magazine said, citing a spokeswoman for the couple, who wed in May. She told the magazine that mother and baby were healthy and the boy's middle name was for Spelling's father, prolific television producer Aaron Spelling, who died in June. The boy is the second child for McDermott, who has an 8-year-old son from a previous marriage. The baby has been the catalyst for Spelling to try to reconcile with her own mother, Candy Spelling, who told People that she was at the hospital when her grandson was born. "Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event," she told the magazine. "I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson." The mother and daughter have long had a troubled relationship, which worsened with the negative portrayal of the mother character in the younger Spelling's VH1 television situation-comedy So NoTORIous as well as the death of Aaron Spelling. Tori Spelling and McDermott married shortly after the bride's divorce from her first husband, Charlie Shanian, and McDermott's divorce from his TV chef wife, Mary Jo Eustace. Spelling and McDermott met in the summer of 2005 during filming in Canada for the TV movie Mind over Murder.

Tori Spelling has opened her bed and breakfast.The actress and her husband Dean McDermott finished the renovations to Chateau La Rue - named after Tori's pug dog Mimi La Rue - just hours before the grand opening. Tori revealed: "Dean was painting doors until 2pm. Only hours before the gala, all the furniture was gathered in the middle of the rooms and not set out. It was sheer madness. It came down to the wire but we pulled it off."The California guesthouse is the focus of Tori and Dean's new reality show 'Tori and Dean: Inn Love'. Tori, who is due to give birth this month, feels "exhausted" but is looking forward to receiving her first guests. She said: "We don't like traditional bed and breakfasts because they are cluttered with people's old collectibles. We wanted a modern, chic place. We can't wait to entertain our guests with fun theme nights and movie nights on the lawn."Since I'm in my ninth month of pregnancy, I'm exhausted and it's hard for me to get around. But I love to cook so I'll be preparing a lot of the food and conceptualising the theme nights."Tori, who is expecting a boy, can't wait to welcome her son into the world. She said: "I'm so excited to meet my little man so soon. I'm over the moon with anticipation of his arrival. I'm counting down the days!"The first guests will arrive at the nine-acre estate in Fallbrook later this week.

Tori Spelling gave guests at her baby shower a cosmetic lip injection set intheir goody bags.The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' actress and her husband Dean McDermott gave guests an exclusive gift bag produced by The Silver Spoon, which included a Too Faced Lip Injection, a $600 pearl bracelet and an babyblanket.The blue-themed party - held at West Hollywood's Elixir Tonic and Tea bar on Saturday - was filmed for the couple's new reality show 'Tori and Dean: Inn Love' which sees them run their own bed and breakfast.The lavish bash was decorated with white amaryllis in turquoise vases, blueglass lanterns and hundreds of votive candles, to match their baby's turquoise blue and chocolate brown nursery.The food included grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna melts, miniature corndogs, pigs in blankets, as well as an all-blue dessert menu that featured blueberry popsicles.The baby's middle name will be Aaron after Tori's father - legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling - who died last year. Her mother, Candy, was not at the shower. She and Tori have not been speaking since Aaron's will which left Tori a minimal amount of his estate. After the party, Tori admitted she couldn't wait to give birth, saying:"I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth. I can't wait to bea mom and hold this little baby in my arms."Tori and Dean's baby boy is due in April.

He told People magazine: "She looks so sexy naked." Tori, the daughter of late TV producer Aaron Spelling says being pregnant has made her appreciate her body more. She said: "Every night I walk past the mirror and just stare at my belly. I'm so impressed by it. You always wonder what you'll look like when you're pregnant and it looks good. I like being pregnant." The couple also revealed their first-born, which they know is a boy, will have Aaron as his middle name in honor of Tori's father. Dean said: "We haven't decided on the first name yet but his middle name will be Aaron."
